Fiona Hill has been selected as your candidate for Royston
Fiona is married with a young child and has lived in Royston for many years. She has been a local Councillor for 11 years and is keen to represent the interests of local people at County Hall and tackle the concerns of the community.
As Chairman of the Royston and District Committee, Fiona has been very supportive of local initiatives, including campaigning to reduce car parking charges, more facilities for younger people, improving local roads and pavements, town centre rejuvenation and community grants.
In addition, reducing anti-social behaviour by ensuring the small minority responsible are identified and held to account for their actions is also a priority. Encouraging investment in CCTV, to assist the Police in arresting offenders, will also be a strong focus, if elected.
Education and the provision of school places for children to have a real chance to attend the schools of their choice is another key factor. It is also vital to provide youth facilities that younger people desire, such as the Leisure Centre, youth football teams and the Boxing Club.
More affordable housing in Royston is a key issue, but Fiona understands the need for supporting nfrastructure and would continue to strive for this.
Fiona is committed to making a real difference to the community by ensuring the views of local people are heard loud and clear.
Promoted by Peter Burt on behalf of Fiona Hill both of 75 Station Road, Letchworth garden City, Herts. SG6 3BJ
