Michael is involved with the local community as a member of the Rotary Club, Ware TCM, Wodson PArk and Skillmann Trust.
Having worked, brought up a family and played an active part in the Ware community for many years, I now need your vote to represent you as the County Councillor for the Ware South Ward.

I have two married daughters who attended local schools and enjoyed their childhood around Ware. We are now delighted to rediscover the attraction of our town through the eyes of our three grandchildren.

Through long associations with many of Ware’s organizations I have a unique understanding of whom and what makes the place tick.

I have the experience, time and enthusiasm to be your elected County Councillor.

Our towns and villages in East Herts are under threat as never before. The proposed huge housing development to the north of Harlow – if allowed to go ahead – WILL have a big impact on us in the Ware South ward. I am already vigorously opposing this major concern.

We are daily experiencing increased traffic on our roads, so much so that Amwell and Rush Green roundabouts are hazardous bottlenecks. Frequently Hoe Lane becomes congested and the proposed 500 houses at its southern end are unlikely to help! I shall be working for improvements in these areas.

Anti-social and criminal behaviour are areas of increasing concern. High on my action list will be to work with all interested parties to ensure CCTV is installed in Ware High Street.

As residents of Ware South Ward we have chosen to live in this pleasant part of Hertfordshire. With your support I shall work to ensure it remains so.
