Terry has spent 54 years in Scouting the last 34 at 1st Wormley
· Terry moved from the Midlands in 1970 to work for Hoddesdon Urban District Council and thereafter for Broxbourne Borough Council until 1993.
· He has been married for 33 years, has two children, and one grandchild with another due in early May.
· Terry was leader of the 1st Wormley Scout Troop for 16 years and has been the Group Scout leader for the past 18 years.
· He will retire later this year from his business as a water consultant and public health engineer.
· Throughout his career and through scouting he has always tried to help people with their problems at grass roots level.

If elected I will do my best to help all those who live in the Waltham Cross and Theobalds area. I have extensive experience of local government and will use this to challenge all the various services provided by the County Council to ensure they are delivered in an effective, efficient, economical and timely manner, and that any issues you bring to me are dealt with promptly and effectively.

One of my obvious concerns is with youth and community, the voluntary sector and its survival over the coming years. I have considerable experience in dealing with the provision of meals on wheels and luncheon clubs for the elderly and the educational system.

Conservative-run Herts County Council is recognised as one of the very best councils in England. Please vote for me on 5th May to ensure our county stays in safe hands. Don’t let Labour and the Lib Dems ruin Hertfordshire like last time!
